A venue booker gets 50 emails a day from artists wanting to play. They're not going to dig through your social media to figure out who you are. An EPK gives them everything they need in one place: who you are, what you sound like, and why they should book you.
What Goes in an EPK
Artist bio (3 paragraphs max): Who you are, what you sound like, notable achievements. Write it in third person. Keep it tight.
Streaming links: Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube. Make it easy to hear your music.
Press photos: At least one horizontal (for posters) and one vertical (for social media). High-res, professional quality.
Press quotes: If a blog, magazine, or radio station said something nice about you, include it. "One of Nashville's most promising acts" - The Tennessean.
Notable shows/achievements: Opened for [artist], played [festival], [number] Spotify streams.
Contact info: Booking email, management contact, social media handles.
Create Your EPK
The EPK Builder walks you through each section. Fill in the fields, and it generates a clean, formatted document you can download and email to venues, festivals, press, and labels.
EPK Tips
Keep it to one page. Bookers skim. If they can't figure out who you are in 30 seconds, they move on.
Lead with your best. Best press quote, biggest show, highest stream count. Don't bury the good stuff.
Update it quarterly. Old stream counts and outdated bios look sloppy. Keep the numbers current.
